Could it be that all translations are not always correct?
I have several hobbies or like to collect various things, as I study and learn. I love to take a Bible, and a Dictionary, and look up a word, a key word, and find the most peaceful answer to what that word may mean. For instance, I looked up "Sacrifice", and one of the translations was "Prayer". Jesus was a Jew who was for Peace. So to me, the word "Sacrifice" meaning "Prayer" seemed a lot more logical to me.
I also love Biblical Archeology in all aspects of it. And one of my favorites, is also to listen to "Naked Archeology", which is a Jew for Jesus, who sets out to understand more about Biblical Archeology, and more from the original texts or the original Hebrew and Aramaic Writings. Since he is a Jew himself and knows how to interpret the original language, I found myself learning even more. For instance in the Scriptures that have been translated many many many many times over 2011 years since the crucifiction of Christ, may have changed. Let me bring clarity to this thought.
In the New Testament it says Joseph was a Carpenter. But I found out from the original scriptures and language, Joseph was not a Carpenter, but a mason of sorts...a rock layer or what we call a brick layer now adays. Back in ancient times, you would see buildings and walls made from stones and rocks. When you go to the Holy Land and Israel, these buildings are unearthed all the time showing the buildings in ancient times. So that means Jesus was trained up to be a Stone Mason. Which makes alot more sense when we read, "On this rock I will build my church". It refers back to what Jesus was trained to do while he was growing up before he took over the ministry from his cousin John the Baptist. Also in Biblical Archeology, they unearthed a place in Galilee where it was a trade route of sorts. It is where alot of different peoples and nationalities would come to, to trade items like a big flea market of sorts in how we would understand it today. And these buildings and walls were all made of stone and mortar. So it is believed logically that Joseph and Jesus, and other Stone Masons helped to build these places in Galilee long before Jesus was officially introduced to the public.
Well, today's study was about Judas Iscariot. In the scriptures, over thousands of years and translations, could they have gotten it wrong about him too? Now, it is correct that Judas did bring soldiers to Gethsemane to arrest Jesus, and to turn Jesus over to the Jewish High Priest, Caiaphas. But why did he do it? Who was Judas?
According to original writings, Judas was a Jew who was part of the Revolt or Revolution of Jews who believed and who were looking for a Messiah who would bring War. To BRING war, and fight for Israel. We also know that Judas was a Tax Collector, and back in those days, they were hated worse then Tax Collectors are not liked even now adays.
So Judas was part of the Revolution and a group of Jewish Young Men who were called the "Sicari". They were a group of Jews who carried hidden daggers in their clothes. They carried their knives that way, they felt, in case they felt they had to fight.
Jesus spoke of Peace. He spoke of another way of doing things. Now all 12 of Jesus Desciples saw all the miracles that God did thru Jesus. They saw the healings, the fishes and 5 loaves of bread miraculously feed thousands and thousands of people, how the food was multiplied. They saw it all, and they all 12 learned the teachings of Jesus.
There is a Jewish Law that all Jews know, saying that it it against the law for a Jewish High Priest to condemn a Jew. Jesus was a Jew. That is why the High Priest Caiaphas and the family with the sur (last name) annas, turned Jesus over to Rome to be condemned.
It is logical then that Caiaphas, the High Priest, and the annas family knew that Judas was an insider of Jesus 12. And they would also know Judas, because he was a Tax Collector. So it is logical that this is how Caiaphas and the annas family talked Judas into turning Jesus over to them.
1. It is against Jewish Law for a High Priest to condemn a Jew.
2. Judas thought that since he knew Jesus was Holy, that surely the Angels of God would come down and that is how a Holy War would happen. Again, the Jewish Sicari believed in a Messiah that would be Warlike and bring War. So when Judas turned Jesus over to the High Priest, he thought Jesus would be safe and not be put to death. He thought this would force Heaven to fight for Jesus and for Israel, and prove Jesus was the Messiah.
Now it was apparent that for some reason, Peter also had a type of sword. Was he "Sicari", too? I personally don't think he was of the same group as Judas. But instead was just wanting to protect Jesus. If you remember right, when the army came to get Jesus and arrest him from the Garden of Gethsemane, it is recorded that Peter got upset and cut the right ear off of one of the soldiers. When that happened, Jesus said, "Peter!" while Jesus healed the ear on the soldier back to normal. Which probably threw all the Disciples for a loop. Here they were ready to fight to protect Jesus, and he was telling them "NO." They even watched as Jesus healed the ear back on the soldier.
They hadn't truly understood Jesus's words yet. What He was talking about. About being the passover lamb. Think about the passover lamb. Even all the way back in Egypt with Moses, before the Israelites were led out of Egypt by Moses, they had to put the blood from an unblemished lamb over their door posts so that anyone who was inside the home would not be hurt by the Angel of Death. They would be protected inside.
Anyhow, back to Judas, when he then realised that he, himself, had been betrayed by Caiaphas and Annas seeing they turned Jesus over to the Jews to die, he then walked outside of Jerusalem to that famous field.
But was Judas just going there to committ suicide? Or did he have another intention in mind? Turns out by history, the burial site of the annas family was there in that field. And where it is recorded in history that Judas killed himself, was right in front of the openings to Annas's family tombs and burial cave sites. Why did Judas kill himself there? Because according to Jewish Traditions, that would then defile the Annas family burial site. He went there and killed himself there not only to get back at Annas. By defiling their gravesites, but it was also his way of getting revenge. (About Caiaphas and the annas family: http://www.biblehistory.net/Joseph_Caiaphas.pdf ) (Just so you know, the word "clouds" also means "Witnesses").
So when I see the words of Jesus say, "I have come to bring a sword"...many people thought he meant, "Sword of faith?" and assumed this was the translation. But if you get the dictionary out and look up the most PEACEFUL TRANSLATION, you will find it means, "arguing". In Christ's time, the Jewish Pupils were taught to argue scriptures, to discover different meanings; to go over various meanings of translations. Jesus was willing to put a good arguement on what translations really meant.
You know how you can read the Scriptures and time and time again come away with another meaning or possibility, and come away with another thought? It was the same back in Christ's day as well. And is still even to this day. Look how many translations of the Scriptures there are? Look how many doctrines of different churches there are? Look how many different sects of Jews there. This goes for EVERY AND ALL RELIGIONS in the world even today. All religions have different sects or choose this idea or that idea. But what is the correct one?
We know that Jesus spoke of love. And He was trying to bring people into a peaceful spiritual mindset. Not of violence and wars and murder. When humanity is done with that phase, God knows humanity will be willing to be for peace. And willing to listen. But humanity is still trying to figure out how to get there.
In 2011, now there are Muslims/Islamics who want to have a "Holy War". Come to find out by some of their history, is that thru time, THEIR leaders have changed their words of their Koran thru time words to bring war as well. For instance there was a part in their writings talking about a woman with Dove's eyes. They changed that meaning to mean violence and war. Could this by what the SONG OF SOLOMON was getting at? The song of solomon is about the radicaIs who go against Isreal. Anyhow, back to today's Muslims/Islamic radicals, for understanding, that is why so many of the uneducated Muslims/Islamics who are so very poor, listen to those "educated" who continue to pass down the violence in their writings, is that why there are suicide bombers. What about the fact that there are so many uneducated poor in the world, that they will do anything? They are hungry, starving, and watch their own families starving and children growing up very poor.
In the story of Judas, Caiaphas and the annas family gave Judas 30 pieces of silver to turn Christ over to them. Now adays, the radical Muslims/Islamics offer the starving poor moneys if they go and kill themselves as suicide bombers. These poor families feel in despair. The rich Muslim/Islamic radicals who hate Jews, Christians, or any religion other then their own, they offer moneys and they offer to take care of their families for life if they will go and blow themselves up.
These people then go and blow themselves up, believing that those radical Muslim/Islamics will then take care of their families. But they are not around then, to see if those who told them that, do in fact financially take care of their families for them. What if they are duped like Judas was? What if those radical rich Muslims/Islamics have given a small portion as a down payment before the person blows themselves up?
The thing of it is, the writings of the Muslims/Islamics has been changed so much and violent translations advocated, I say the world needs to pay attention. These radicals are invading every country.
What's the solution to this problem? How can we stop the radical Muslims/Islamics? Or any radical group? In the radical's minds, they think if they keep pushing and prodding, that they will force the world into a war. They are doing this to Israel right now. They are trying to convince the world that it's Israel that is causing the problem.
Now things over there have become so confused. But I do hope that when push comes to shove, that everyone will defend Israel. Israel has a right to exist. And Jesus was sent to them first.
The end goal for Humanity? To learn how to live together side by side in peace. There is the Carnal Body and there is the Spiritual Body. We know the Carnal body wears out eventually and dies. This releases the Spiritual Body back to God, and God places us where He wants us to be.
Sometimes this world can be overwhelming. God knows this. So It's okay to just "Be", too. Look that up in the dictionary and look for the most peaceful translation. But carnally, it appears there is going to be a process before peace happens. Why? Because of the radicals who insist on killing others instead of allowing humanity to live their journeys and accomplish their journeys here on earth according to God's timings. Radicals have not yet learned that all humanity has a right to not only exist, but to live, to love, to learn. to follow their God given journeys on this earth, and not be bullied with the threats of death.
If we focus on God in our minds, to pray and talk to God in prayer inside, and follow the ways of peace inside, we find happiness and life and purpose. That is the way to peace here and now. And to Love God and to Love One Another. Then we truley become children of God, Spiritual Beings who are in these earthly containers called the fleshly bodies. And we then can start looking at life, this earth, and one another with loving, peaceful eyes of co existing. But to get there, it's going to take some time. But with everyone still trying, it can happen. All things are possible when it comes to God I believe. Again, we are Spiritual Beings having a Human experience. Now, look up the word "Metaphysics". If you look up it's meaning, it simply means "The balance of all things." Jesus said to be Temperate in all things. Now, get your dictionaries, and look up the most peaceful meaning to this word. What do you think Jesus peacefully meant by this word?
Footnotes:
Reference of the Priest Annas.....("The first man before whom Jesus stood was a crook. John 18:13 tells us they led him to Annas. Why Annas?! He wasn't even the High Priest! He was the father-in-law of Caiaphas, the High Priest. What's the father-in-law doing seeing an accused man at 2 o'clock in the morning when he is no longer in the court? That's Caiaphas's job. Well, do you remember when Jesus put together some leather thongs, and he made a whip, and went into the temple and he drove the moneychangers from the temple (Matthew 21:12, Mark 11:15)? Well, the man in charge of that bazaar at the time was named Annas, who was the High Priest at that time. He has been the High Priest for seventeen years. He was the boss of the Mafia.
The Mafia was in charge of two special things at Passover. First, the changing of money (and the discount rate was atrocious). Second, the purchasing of sacrificial animals (and the cost was incredible). If you were smart enough to bring your own animal, you had to have it pass the Mafia, or Annas' men. And when you brought your animal there, they would take a careful look at the animal and would surely find some marks that would keep you from using your animal. So you must buy their animal, and their animals were three times, sometimes four times more than you would ever pay back home for a good old sheep. And all the profit wound up in Annas' pocket. He was a crook. " ~Chuck Swindall on Annas historical account.")
FACT NOTE: Mary, mother of Jesus, her Mother's first name was Anna. So Jesus Grandmother and the Father in Law of Caiaphas is not the same family. Jesus Grandmother's FIRST name was Anna, Mary's Mom. Caiaphas's Father in laws LAST name was Annas. Totally different families. Also, alot of people still don't get why Jesus over turned the money changers tables. Jesus was upset that they were killing innocent animals and birds, the shedding of their blood and making a living at it. The slaughter. I have Jewish friends now, and they said that Jews no longer sacrifice animals like they use to do.
In the beginning when people were in Eden, when Adam and Eve were created, people were vegetarians. It was only after the great flood, that people began to eat meat and slaughter animals.
And about today, all peoples, kindreds, tongues and nations please remember.... just because a few people in any country or any race make the wrong choice, that doesn't mean the entire country or the entire race of peoples are like those few who made a mistake. All humanity is still learning. We can't just sweep up countries and races of peoples together. Not everyone should be punished for the crimes of a few. Remember, everyone is still learning, no matter how young or how old. It's why it is good to be forgiving of one another. Because only God knows where that other person is on their learning and their journey. :-)

God's Creation And What Humanity Did Wrong
In the beginning, there was happiness.
God formed the human being from the moist earth, earth that was made out of star dust, and God breathed His own breath within His craft, and placed the two of them in a garden of delight. There they ate the luscious fruits of enchanting trees, savored the pungent aromas of fecund blossoms, delighted in a symphony of richly multicolored birds, bathed in refreshing spring waters and lay down to rest peacefully upon a mattress of soft moss beneath the open sky. They played and delighted, rejoiced and celebrated. They delighted in God’s creation and He delighted in them, and in that way, the Creator was found within His creation, the Infinite Light within the finite bounds it had emanated. The sparks of holiness that had fallen at the outset of Creation were pulled towards the light in harmony, as metallic dust is pulled towards a magnet. Heaven and earth, spirit and matter, soul and body were at peace.
Happiness was poisoned by “I am”, or the focus of self, rather than God.
“And they both opened their eyes and saw that they were naked.” The garden was no longer. In its place was a jungle of confusion, the voices of a thousand dissonant emotions all screaming at once.
God said:
“So now you must bend down to work the earth from which you were taken; go deep down into each and every emotion and experience of life to pick up the pieces and rebuild them as they once were. You must recreate the human being; you must recreate your world.”
But God knew this might happen. Because God knows all possibilities of how we might choose. God had a plan for humanity in case this happened. The plan of saving humanity. The plan of Salvation.
So God sent Jesus to earth to live amongst humanity. And He knew later that Humanity would read about Jesus, and read about other writings in their own Search for God. God wants us. God doesn't abandon humanity. Humanity abandons God many times. They get caught up in the form of religion, and demand their own interpretations are the right ones, but forget to talk to God each and every day themselves, and forget to let God Himself lead the way. God knows we must change focus sometimes for these fleshly vessels to continue. And there are no walls that can seperate God from anywhere, or from us. But it's humanity that gets caught up of the chaos and cares of this world. And why it is so important to take time out and focus on God.
In the New Testament, we have been taught how to fix this problem. Jesus tried to teach us all this. But no one got it fully. No one understood what He was trying to teach completely. This world is a classroom in which God teaches us. We live here, learn, touch, experience both good and evil. And while we exist here, our Spiritual Bodies are in these fleshly bodies as well, until the fleshly bodies wear out. Then it releases the Spiritual Body back to God.
But we are Spiritual beings having a human experience. It is our thoughts that can seperate us from God, and our thoughts that many times can seperate us from one another as well.
The Apostle Peter called the fleshly body a "Tent". What do you do in a tent? Camp out in it, right? Our Spiritual bodies camp out in our fleshly bodies while we are here on earth. Predestined and assigned to be here on this day, in this time.
How do we connect with God? All we have to do is believe God is and talk to God every day. Talk to God. Ask Him questions, and look for the answers. You will find them. And remember, it's not God's fault that people make bad choices or that people do bad things. We must have the freedom to make choices in order to learn. That is why we are here in this world. Don't give up on God, ever. God never gives up on us! As for me and mine, we belong to God. :-)
In the Bible, the book of 1 Corinthians, Chapter 15, verses 44 through 52. Nothing can seperate us from the Love of God. He loves us and wants us. To be spiritually minded and to pray and talk to God is life. To be carnally minded, it seperates us from God. Because God is Spirit and must be worshiped in Spirit and in Truth. Jesus even said so. The first book of John in the Bible, Chapter 4, verse 23. So it is thinking on the carnal things that seperates us from God.
Take time every single day, take the time to spend time with God. He is our Family, too. We need Him. And He Loves Us. Do you ever feel afraid? Talk to God. Do you ever feel alone? Talk to God. There is nothing in Heaven and On Earth that God can't fix. We just have to look for His answers. We are here in this world to do the fixing of the world. And remember to forgive. People love the best they know how. It may not be what we need or what we want, but people love the best they know how. And all of us are still learning. Humanity does make mistakes. We learn from those mistakes hopefully. If we don't, those lessons will continue to be brought around back to us until we learn those lessons we are to learn.
One day at a time, one step at a time. We have to first take the time to talk to God and figure out how to do that, each of us. We are all here for a reason and a purpose. No matter how great or how small, all of us, all of our contributions matter to God. Focus on the good, the positive and the constructive. We can do this! Humanity is finally getting it....we are suppose to create this world and contribute to this planet while we are here. What's stopping us in humanity as a whole? What can we do to resolve the problems of this time? Never give up!
In the Bible, the book of Romans, Chapter 8, verses 8 through 39.
The sparks of holiness that had fallen at the outset of Creation were pulled towards the light in harmony, as metallic dust is pulled towards a magnet. Heaven and earth, spirit and matter, soul and body were at peace.
And then Eve said, “I feel.”Happiness had been stung; it had swollen and the wound festered. No longer open and focused to contain the luminance from beyond, like a leaf in the autumn it shriveled and fell earthward. There was now no smile without a tinge of sadness, no sweet song without bitterness, no delight without pain. Now there was no human emotion, no experience of life left uncontaminated by the primordial snake, that ubiquitous sense of “I am.”
“I feel happiness, I feel pleasure.”
“I taste, I enjoy. I love and yes, I fear.”
Happiness was poisoned by “I am”, or the focus of self, rather than God.
“And they both opened their eyes and saw that they were naked.” The garden was no longer. In its place was a jungle of confusion, the voices of a thousand dissonant emotions all screaming at once.
“Where are you, Adam?” God cried out. “Why can I no longer find you?”As chaos had entered human life, so it had spread throughout the creation. Like an ineptly crushed walnut, the sparks of primal light that were to be gathered were now crushed helplessly into the fragments of their own shells. The entire cosmos had become a mayhem of darkness and light.
“Because I felt my nakedness,” Adam called back. “I felt that I am here, and I was ashamed.”
“Adam,” God cried again, “you have tasted of the fruit of knowing (the tree of the knowledge of good and evil), of feeling that which is good and that which is evil, of being who you are as though I am not there. You have left My garden of innocent delight and entered into the chaos of your own creation. And so, you can no longer find me there, for all you find is your own self.”
God said:
“So now you must bend down to work the earth from which you were taken; go deep down into each and every emotion and experience of life to pick up the pieces and rebuild them as they once were. You must recreate the human being; you must recreate your world.”

Random Thoughts Today
It's been a long long time since I blogged here last. Today I just felt alot of randome thoughts. As a Freelance Writer, I often times will get thoughts or ideas and just jot them down on paper. They may or may not make sense, but it is what I am feeling or my thoughts at that time on any subject I may be thinking about. Here goes....
God knows I love my Adult "kids" and my Grandchildren. I believe we all knew one another in Heaven before we were born here on earth. I believe God sent us all to earth with a plan. We are all here for a reason and a purpose, all of us in Humanity. The New Testament talks about predestination. I believe this world is a classroom in which God sends us to. We are here to learn, to experience both good and bad. To learn from our choices. And also learn that the choices of others also affects our lives. There are many levels to that thought. Governments, strangers, family, friends, ourselves, all these do affect our lives. For negative choices: Mad scientists who did nuclear experiements on it's own peoples here in America during the cold war also affected us. Mad scientists who want to ignite the ionic sphere can affect all of humanity. A stranger can choose to rob you or kill you. Or a terrorist can choose to blow themselves up in the name of their religion, thereby stopping your worldy journey. There are so many ways to look at this thought. But it is truth. People can affect our lives for good or bad.
Good Choices are like how my Mother chose to give us love and make us feel special. Good choices was my Dad sending me to Montery Bay Academy when I was 17. Good choices were my Grandparents spending time with me and sharing their thoughts and knowledge of things, and always loving me unconditionally.
Random thought: Truth is I haven't figured the fleshly world out yet. Inside, the Spiritual self I am sure of. Truth is, I am concerned about any religion or anybody, government, group, or peoples who think it is okay to kill others in humanity and end the life assigned journeys of those people they kill. Our journeys in this world are between ourselves and God. We must always include God, like talk to Him, ask Him questions. In life, we share our life's journey with others. When we are in relationships, we choose to be in them. Sadness is when you want to be in a relationship, whether family or friend, and they choose not to be with you. I think every person on the planet Earth should have the right to their own journeys without someone killing them. I include thoughts on abortion here, and also thoughts for Isreal, America, and everyone on this planet.
Random Thought: I love Biblical Archeology and trying to find out about their ancient history.
To all, have a lovely day.
